CHRIS CHONG CHAN FUI (b. 1972, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia) is an artist who works with the moving image. His current art practice has expanded to incorporate drawing, photography and installation. Chong has premiered at film festivals such as the Cannes' Directors’ Fortnight, Vienna, London, and Toronto. He has exhibited his works at the Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden (Smithsonian Institute), EYE Film Institute Netherlands, Austrian Museum of Applied Arts, Museum of Canadian Contemporary Art, and Singapore Art Museum.

In March 2015, Chong’s BOTANIC (2013) series will be shown at the Musée d'art contemporain de Lyon (MAC Lyon). The series was first showcased at the 2013 Singapore Biennale. His latest series, ENDEMIC (2015), will make its debut at the Palais de Tokyo this year. At the same time, Chong's video installation BLOCK B (2009) will also be shown at the Grand Palais, as part of Art Paris Art Fair's video platform.
